Dear friends and family,
As many of you know I started my Foundation in 2009 and have had the opportunity to be able to help many underprivileged children here in Miami Dade County and also in Kenya, Africa all throughout India, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Colombia.
Many of you are very aware of the devastating situation going on in Venezuela. The South American country has been caught in a downward spiral for years with growing political discontent further fueled by skyrocketing hyperinflation, power cuts and shortages of food and medicine. About four million Venezuelans have left the country in recent years.
Every day you can see the thousands of Venezuelans crossing the border. Some are crossing the border to leave the country with only a few belongings they had left. Others to find food or medications, and a few others to sell anything they could as a re-sale. Currently, most people are making a dollar or less per day.
You can see the desperation of the families, especially those that have small children. The lack of food, medications, hygiene items, hunger, and death, is all real.
For these reasons, Sharing Smiles Foundation is taking on this mission. We are set to provide much needed medical attention, distribution of medication, food, hygiene items, clothing, and shoes to as many families as we can through all your donations.
Sharing Smiles Foundation believes in the value of education and the power that gives to a child in need. Sharing Smiles Foundation has taken on the challenge, as a step in faith, in sponsoring 50 children to continue their education in Venezuela. These are children from families that have no possible means to have their child in school. I would like you for a moment to reflect on this…
“What if that was my family in that situation?"
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Sharing Smiles Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. Many of my friends and patients want to help from the bottom of their hearts, but I also want everyone to realize that it is a 501 (c)(3) foundation and any amount donated is tax deductible, so it goes to show you that by helping others you will in turn help yourself. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Our goal is to reach millions of children and their families in need around the world and implement changes in their communities to improve the quality of life. We work in collaboration with other organizations, and local government entities looking for resources that can break the cycle of poverty and provide the opportunity for each child to reach their full potential.
Through your generosity, we will be able to provide much needed help to hundreds of families. I hope you find it in your hearts to extend a helping hand by your financial donations.
If I have ever extended the courtesy of a discount to you I ask that you reach within your heart and realize that this is going for the greater good of humanity. If you are not my patient yet, well then I welcome you to my office. I ask you to spread the word to family and friends to donate whatever you can to the Sharing Smiles Foundation.
I will be posting many pictures on Instagram and Facebook so that you may keep up with our work and see the difference your donations can make. You can also donate through our website at dentistryandmedspa.com. We have a special page where you can read more about our Foundation. You may also send your checks to 4651 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Suite 100, Coral Gables, Florida 33146 payable to Sharing Smiles Foundation.
On behalf of Sharing Smiles Foundation, I would like to thank you for your contribution. Your financial support helps us continue in our mission by assisting those in our community and internationally as well.
Thank you in advance for your donation, and if you can please spread the word to your family, friends, and coworkers, it will greatly be appreciated. No amount is too little, every dollar counts.
